"Network" directed by Sidney Lumet. RIP, Director Sidney Lumet passed away after a really astounding career of filmmaking where HE TOLD IT LIKE IT WAS.

She Lives With Intention
Hope had become a thin and brittle branch upon which she perched her life. Inevitably, the branch would break because it was not a wise choice to perch on it. In this scenario, hope was not hope. It was a mere fantasy that refused to recognize the conditions and circumstances it found itself in, and in spite of its intention to hold up the world, it finally snapped and her life came plunging to the ground.
The ground was hard and dense and had very little give. The impact from her fall was lung-flattening. She lay there for a long while, and that while became a few years. All she knew was that nothing had turned out the way she thought it would. She had to wake up from her stupor or die. She dreamt this in her coma-like existence...for a few years...maybe more. Her soul was laying flat out on the hard cold ground at the bottom of her tree of life, but her body went through the motions of a normal life.
